Regn, regn .... / Rain, rain .....

In English down below:

Mor siger heldigvis.

In English:

This morning when we woke up, we read in the newspaper, that there has been a cloudburst in Copenhagen our Capital city. The Lyngby Motorway was particulary affected.

At first we thought: How lucky they are .....one can swim in water!!
But then they wrote in the newspaper that it was sewage flowing in the streets because the sewer covers were pushed off. Eeekkkk disgusting we will not swim in that, although it probably smells nice!!!
The small puddle of water lying on our terrace, is what is left with us after the rain .

Hmm... we can't swim in that small puddle of water!!!
So we have to face it. No swimming for us this time. Thank God mom says.

See you next time.

Skræk og rædsel... / Fear and horror....

In English down below:

In English:

Yesterday  my mom was sitting in the armchair and dozed to the television. Sometimes when you are sitting somewhere, you can just feel that you are not alone. That my mom could too.

Mom is sitting having a good time in the armchair!
She senses a large shadow on the floor close to the armchair!
And there it was .... a mega, gigantic, enormous spider who was wearing both waders and braces. Mom's hair stood right up on her head and it was just before she screamed. She was glad that she had her legs up on an ottoman. She immediately thought that I should come and save her. Vaks and I love eating wasps and flies, so why not spiders ???
Vaks and I ran into the living room, but when we saw that mega, gigantic, enormous spider, we wouldn't risk anything!
And that's how a mega, gigantic, enormous spider who is wearing waders and braces, came to live, somewhere in our living room.

Hmm .... mom tells us,  she is going to bed early today so she don't have to sit in the living room !!!

See you next time.

Ægte kærlighed... / True love...

In English down below:

Vi elsker far, specielt når han spiser.

For far spilder altid mad på gulvet!

Ægte kærlighed!!!

We love Dad, especially when he's eating.

Because Dad always spills food on the floor!

True love!!!

Rovdyret.... / The predator

In English down below:

In English:

The other day when we were going to ride in the car, came one of the neighbor's little sassy mongrels running to bark at us. I was really angry, so I turned  into a predator. The little mongrel shouldn't bark at Vaks and me. I would quickly put an end to it. Quick as the lightning (Lucky Luke which is faster than his own shadow would have been envious) I ran after the dog.

I tell the mongrel to shut up!
He tells me, that he barks if he want to!
But I'll teach him. I transform myself into a real predator, and throws him down on his back!
Hrmf ... the only one who was injured was me, because the cur bit my nose. And from my side I think there was more sound than teeth.
The neighbor went with his dog and my dad went with me. Luckily, there was no hard feelings. But my pride .... it has been injured.

It's a bit more than my pride that was hurt. I got a notch in the spout.

En byhund på landet... / A city dog in the countryside...

In English down below:

In English:

When we got Vaks, all the people inside the Animal Protection Shelter were really happy at Vaks's behalf, that he was going to live in the countryside. We also think that it was perfect for a small dog to stay with us here in the countryside. A nice free life for a dog. I myself love to stay here and chase a cat once in a while.

But Vaks is actually a little different. He is not only afraid, no, he is terrified of a lot of scary things.

He's scared when the wind blows in the treetops!
He's scared when it thunders!
He's scared when the neighbor's tarpaulin, which he laid over the straw bales, is flapping in the wind!
He's scared when it is raining!
He is even afraid of the dark in the garden, so mom must go with him in the evening, or he will not go outside.

But what he is not afraid, and it might otherwise scare me, it's big trucks and other dangerous things that exist in the city:

He is not afraid of wailing police cars!
He is not afraid of big buses that make sounds when braking and then open the doors with a pfft!
So it's not like he's a scary pants. He just never lived in the country before hearing all the sounds of the countryside. But I'll teach him that all the noises are okay, here in the countryside.

See you next time.

Benet / The bone....

In English down below:

Sometimes I have these dreams:

I don't think mom quite understand me!

Have a nice day.

We thought it could be a lot of fun, joining this bloghop:

Hmmm.... What am I going to write...
Here's our Poem (a Limerick) written by Vaks:

My mood you can see on my tail
Except when I'm going on a trail
When I'm running free
I don't come when mom calls me
That's how I ended up in jail....(or not)!

Ending up in jail is the worst. Hopefully I'm not the one ending up in jail. I have to learn to come when mom calls me.

Because this is a contest, you can vote on my poem by clicking the like underneath my thumbnail picture.

Plæneklipperen... / The lawnmower...

In English down below:

In English:

The disadvantage of rain is, the lawn starts growing again. That's fine with me, but Dad don't quite agree, because he'll have to cut it.

That shit just wouldn't start, so Dad said a lot of  funny noises.
No problem dad, Vaks and I'll take care of the grass. We have nevertheless a hairball or two we need to get rid of.
Dad cried like a bitch mom would have done because the hair balls have a way to want out - inside the house. And when mom can't walk, then dad has to do the cleaning !!!
He was truly relieved when the hair balls came out in the garden.
And the lawnmower... it is sent back to the shop for repair. It is after all only 3 months old.
