Dacia træf på Egeskov Slot / Dacia meeting at Egeskov Castle

In English down below.

Veteranbilsmuseet:

Ups!!!
Undskyld mor !!!

In English:

Mom and dad bought in the autumn, a Dacia Lodgy (car). Since it was 1 year ago Dacia Denmark began importing the car here in Denmark, they had invited all the Dacia owners in Denmark into a giant picnic to Egeskov Castle to celebrate.

Egeskov is more than 450 years old and a museum of motorcycles, cars, dolls, forges and much more in the big stables belong to the castle. You can read all about it here: Egeskov . However the Count is still living at the Castle.
We attended of course along with mom and dad's grandchildren.

There was approx. 400 cars and 1800 people. I do not know how many dogs there were but there were a lot.
Veteran Car Museum:

There is a large car museum in the castle. Here it is a "mechanic" lying under the car. Many of the cars are vehicles registered and allowed to drive on the roads.
A picture from the doll museum.
We are standing in line to receive a picnic basket with lunch and soft drinks.
Here we wanted to sit and eat our lunch.
We have brought water and dry food to me and Vaks. Vaks is watching the bag.
I  am lying to look at the many dogs which is passing us. But suddenly I see a really ugly dog and I jump for it. Mom's arm was trapped in the bench and she got a huge bruise just below the elbow.
Whoops!!!

Sorry mom.
Yes, she must be careful where she puts her arm when she keeps my leash.

Finally, a big thank you to Dacia Denmark for a lovely day.

  1. How fun. My mom says she has seen that castle, but not with a car show. She loves Denmark! My sister Katie has been there and Mom's first dog Trine was in Denmark several times.

    1. Nice to hear your mom and Katie loves Denmark. It's a fine country except for the weather. It's not always sunny and warm :-)
